By embarking on epic motorcycle journeys around the globe, Wissam Al-Jayyoussi, founder of the Goodwill Journey, targets raising awareness about the suffering and hardships that Palestinians endure daily, all the while exemplifying the struggle as expressed in his long and rigorous routes. During these goal-driven trips, the Goodwill Journey also aims to raise funds by collaborating with global NGOs interested in assisting the Palestinian people as well. The Goodwill Journey has collaborated with Hope and Play In 2010 by doing a rip from Dubai to London that was aimed to raise funds and awareness for the education of children with special needs in Palestine. The trip was 40,000 KM in 60 days passing 36 Middle Eastern end European countries. In May 2012 the goodwill journey collaborated with PCRF to support the building of a children's cancer ward at Al Hussain Hospital at Beit Jala, Palestine. Hundreds of children are diagnosed with cancer in Palestine and because of the socio-political situation and the siege in Gaza, many children do not have direct access to the required medical care they need and more so in the West Bank. The trips will continue until the entire world receives the message of the children in Palestine, more trips are being planned to cover USA, Canada, Latin America and Africa.
